BARISTA/SERVER

Role Description This full-time, on-site BARISTA/SERVER role is based in Kathmandu. The BARISTA/SERVER is responsible for preparing coffee and other beverages, assisting with basic food preparation, and serving items to guests in a timely and professional manner. Daily tasks include taking orders, operating coffee machines and other equipment, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role also involves greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring that customer needs are met throughout their visit. The BARISTA/SERVER works closely with other team members to support smooth service during peak hours and to uphold health and safety standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage with guests and support a welcoming environment.Candidates should possess Barista skills, including preparing espresso-based drinks and operating coffee equipment.Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to take orders accurately and coordinate with team members.Candidates should possess Food Preparation skills for handling ingredients, assembling menu items, and following hygiene standards.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a café or restaurant, basic cash handling skills, the ability to stand for extended periods, and flexibility to work weekends, mornings, or evenings as needed.
