The resort offers a wide range of leisure, wellness, and children’s facilities, complemented by a diverse selection of award-winning dining experiences.About the JobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bartender - Food & Beverage to join Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:Identify and meet guests’ needs, provide appropriate bar services, and assist guests in recommendations, upselling where appropriate to provide knowledgeable and bespoke serviceServe beverages according to defined standards and measures (according to local license agreements)Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to beverage recipesEnsure all drinks transactions are processed, registered, and settledSetup the bar appropriately, ensuring the visuals and merchandise are placed appropriately.Undertake opening, closing & cleaning tasks as detailed on checklistsEnsure the checking of expiration dates and that all perishable garnishes are stored and recorded in designated storage areaAdopt a responsible attitude towards serving of alcoholic beverages, to ensure safe consumption in line with group policy and regulatory requirementsAbout YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:1 - 2 years bartending experience preferably within the international hospitality industry.High school diploma and basic Food and Hygiene Training.Passion for delivering personalized guest experiences and maintaining the highest service standards.Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are highly desirable.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling guest requests and service recovery.About the BenefitsAt Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
