Basketball Academy Operations & Community Manager

📍 Dubai, UAE | Full-time | Youth Basketball AcademyA fast-growing, international-standard youth basketball academy in Dubai is looking for an Academy Operations & Community Manager. You’ll run day-to-day operations so the coaches can focus on coaching.You’ll be the face of the academy for parents, schools and venue partners. You’ll also keep schedules, invoicing, kit and communication running smoothly. The safety of every child in our care comes first, above everything else in this role.What you’ll do🛡️ Child safety & safeguarding: Own sign-in/sign-out, authorized pick-ups, first aid readiness and incident handling at every session, in line with UAE law 👨‍👩‍👧 Parents & community: Be the main point of contact for families. Manage WhatsApp groups and newsletters, run events and referral programs, and act on termly feedback. 📅 Scheduling & venues: Build and own the master schedule. Coordinate courts with venue partners and make sure no parent or coach is ever surprised by a change. 🏀 Coaches & daily operations: Give coaches rosters and logistics in advance, organize cover, and make sure every session starts on time with everything in place. 🏆 Games, camps & trips: Organize league fixtures, tournaments, holiday camps and clinics in the UAE, plus international trips and overseas training camps. 📋 Compliance: Keep track of parent forms, insurance, permits, coach licenses and background checks. 💳 Finance & systems: Oversee invoicing and , reconcile with Finance, manage the operations budget and use AI tools to work smarter. 👕 Kit & suppliers: Run game and training kit orders, equipment stock and supplier relationships.What we’re looking for✅ 3–5 years in operations management at a sports academy, club, school or customer-facing business✅ Excellent spoken and written English, and strong communication with parents and coaches✅ Highly organized, plans ahead and has strong attention to detail✅ Experience managing a team member✅ Comfortable with AI and digital productivity tools✅ Experience organizing group travel, camps or events, ideally for young people✅ Available for evenings and weekends, and able to travel abroad with the team✅ First aid and safeguarding training, or willingness to get them before starting ➕ Arabic is a plus ❤️ A passion for youth sport, ideally basketball
