Company Description The Robotics and AI Club at De Anza College is dedicated to building a supportive community for individuals interested in robotics and intelligent systems. Members explore core concepts in robotics and apply them by designing and building functional robots. The club emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration, and problem-solving to bring ideas from concept to reality. As the team grows, the club aims to represent De Anza in competitions such as ERA, CRB, and other robotics events, providing members with opportunities to showcase their work and develop professional skills.Role Description The Battlebots Team Lead is an on-site role based in Cupertino and Los Altos Hills. This position is responsible for organizing and guiding the club’s antweight Battlebots team through the full lifecycle of robot design, fabrication, testing, and competition preparation. Weekly tasks include coordinating team meetings, assigning responsibilities, overseeing robot design reviews, and ensuring safety and proper use of tools and equipment. The Team Lead will collaborate with club officers, mentors, and members to develop project plans, manage timelines and resources, and document progress for internal and external communication.
