For more details, please visit www.dchauriga.com.Role SummaryThe BD Manager will assist the leadership team in formulating and executing business development strategies for the healthcare sector across Greater China and Southeast Asia (SEA). Focusing on the outbound business of China's innovative healthcare enterprises and the expansion of global partnerships, the role will be responsible for potential client development, strategic alliance maintenance, cross-functional project execution, and driving business growth. By collaborating with internal teams and external partners, the BD Manager will support the company's goal of becoming a top-tier healthcare logistics and commercial partner in Asia.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing segmented BD strategies for Greater China and SEA markets, aligning with the company's overall strategic direction.Conduct research on priority therapeutic areas, medical device categories, and target markets, and participate in designing market entry/expansion plans.Identify and develop potential strategic partners (including regulators, CROs/CMOs, distributors, hospital networks, KOLs, payers, digital health platforms, etc.), and promote cooperation negotiations and agreement signing.Maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners, track the progress of cooperative projects, and ensure partnership effectiveness through SLAs and joint business plans.Collect and analyze client needs, collaborate with Regulatory, Market Access, Supply Chain, Medical, and Commercial teams to develop and implement cross-functional solutions.Participate in allianDce management work, coordinate communication with partners, resolve daily issues in cooperation, and promote the iterative optimization of cooperative projects.Be responsible for bid management and compliance review of solutions, ensuring all BD activities comply with regional regulatory requirements, anti-bribery/anti-corruption policies, privacy protection standards, and ethical norms.Assist in optimizing BD business processes and tools, participate in setting team goals and providing performance coaching, and foster an efficient and collaborative team culture.Track segmented market BD Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), assist in completing sales forecasting, budget execution, and progress reporting to the leadership team.Proactively identify commercial, operational, and reputational risks in business cooperation, propose response suggestions, and assist in implementing risk control measures.QualificationsExperience8+ years of progressive experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, or healthcare investment, preferably in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotech, or healthcare funds. Proven track record in market development across Greater China and SEA, with successful cases in client development and closing complex multi-stakeholder cooperation projects.Experience in coordinating cross-functional projects and leading small teams or project groups; familiarity with end-to-end healthcare solutions is a plus.Understanding of the "go-global" needs of China-origin healthcare innovators and familiarity with SEA regulatory and market access landscapes is highly preferred. Skills & CompetenciesIn-depth understanding of the healthcare industry ecosystem, with sharp market insight and commercial judgment.Excellent client development, negotiation, and solution design skills, proficient in consultative selling.Strong stakeholder management ability, capable of effectively coordinating internal and external resources to promote project implementation.Data-driven mindset, skilled in pipeline management and accurate sales forecasting.Entrepreneurial spirit, high resilience, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment.Strong problem-solving and execution capabilities, with attention to details and compliance.Education & LanguageBachelor’s degree or above is required; major in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written); proficiency in additional Cantonese SEA languages (e.g., Indonesian, Malay, Thai) is an advantage.
