The role involves operating a beamsaw to cut panels and boards according to specified measurements and production plans, ensuring accuracy and minimizing material waste. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and calibrating the machine, loading materials, monitoring cutting operations, and performing basic maintenance and safety checks. The role also requires reading and interpreting technical drawings or cutting lists, coordinating with the production team, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Beamsaw operator is expected to follow all safety procedures and quality standards to support efficient furniture manufacturing.Qualifications Ability to safely operate beamsaws or similar cutting machinery, including setup, calibration, and basic maintenance.Experience in furniture manufacturing, woodworking, or panel processing, with familiarity in handling different materials such as wood composites and laminates.Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, measurements, and cutting lists with strong attention to detail.Knowledge of workplace safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to machine safety protocols.Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address minor equipment issues and coordinate repairs when needed.Ability to work on-site in Jiddah, perform physically active tasks such as lifting and moving panels, and stand for extended periods.Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics staff.Previous experience in a similar role and a relevant vocational or technical qualification in woodworking, manufacturing, or a related field is an advantage.
