This role involves conducting behavioral assessments, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, and monitoring progress to ensure effective outcomes. The Behavior Consultant collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers, to integrate behavioral strategies into overall care plans. Daily responsibilities include documenting services, maintaining accurate records, providing education to patients, families, and staff on behavior management techniques, and adhering to organizational policies and regulatory standards. The consultant also participates in case conferences, contributes to quality improvement initiatives, and supports a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

A master’s degree in counseling, social work or related field of study is required.Eligible for and willing to obtain Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License, LPC or LSW within three months of hire. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and data collection methods is a plus.
