Behavioral Health Counselor - Student Assistance Program - Full Time

Summary:Provide behavioral health counseling and education for students centered around substance use prevention.Education:Must have a minimum of a bachelors degree in behavioral health or related field.Licenses:No licensing requiredEssential Functions:- Provides behavioral health counseling services.- Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.- Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.- Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.- Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.- Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.Other Duties:Attend school related meetings as requested by the district.update 10-22-24The pay range for this position is $18.55 - $29.40/hr
