We are hiring Behavioral Health Specialist – Child & Adolescent IOPLocation: Willoughby, OH | In-Person | Full TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PMWe’re looking for a Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) to join our Child & Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Willoughby, OH.This role is an important part of the team in our Partial Hospitalization Program- treating adolescents struggling with mental health challenges. This role includes group work, individual therapy, biopsychosocial assessment, and family work. If you are looking to grow clinically and work collaboratively-apply today!What You’ll DoSupport adolescents participating in our Child & Adolescent IOPBuild positive, trusting relationships with patients ages 11–17Provide support to adolescents experiencing a variety of emotional and behavioral concernsHelp maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environmentCollaborate with therapists, clinicians, and other members of the treatment teamCommunicate observations and relevant patient information effectivelyComplete documentation accurately and in a timely mannerDemonstrate sound judgment and respond appropriately to challenging situationsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or a related mental health field.Behavioral Health Technicians or Mental Health AidesEquivalent hands-on experience in mental or behavioral health (2 years or more)Experience in group-based settings preferred (PHP, IOP, outpatient, residential, school, etc.)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, professional, and comfortable working on-siteRecent graduates seeking clinical exposureCandidates preparing for graduate programs (MSW, Counseling, Psychology)Most Importantly: We Value ConnectionThe right person for this role is someone with an engaging personality who genuinely enjoys working with adolescents.Behavioral Health Specialist | BHS | Child & Adolescent | IOP, Intensive Outpatient Program | behavioral health | mental health | adolescents, youth | Social Work | Counseling, and Human Services | Full Time
