Behavioral Therapist

Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled ABA Therapist to join our clinical team in Dubai. The ABA Therapist will provide high-quality, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral needs under the supervision of a qualified Behavior Analyst.The successful candidate will support the implementation of individualized treatment programs, collect accurate data, collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team members, and promote meaningful improvements in communication, learning, independence, social skills, and adaptive behavior.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized ABA treatment programs developed by the supervising Behavior Analyst.Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in clinic, school, and/or community settings as required.Follow behavior intervention plans, skill acquisition programs, and behavior reduction protocols accurately and consistently.Collect, record, and maintain accurate and timely clinical data.Assist with ongoing assessment and progress monitoring under the supervision of the Behavior Analyst.Support the development of functional communication, social, play, academic, self-help, and adaptive skills.Implement evidence-based strategies to address challenging behaviors.Use reinforcement-based and compassionate teaching approaches while maintaining the dignity and safety of each patient.Establish and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with patients and families.Communicate regularly with the supervising Behavior Analyst regarding patient progress, barriers, and clinical concerns.Participate in supervision, team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development.Collaborate with parents, teachers, LSAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other professionals when appropriate.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow clinic policies and professional standards.Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable UAE regulations, licensing requirements, and ethical standards.Participate in parent training and caregiver coaching activities as directed by the supervising Behavior Analyst.Promote generalization of learned skills across people, environments, and situations.Qualifications & RequirementsEssential:CDA-licensed or CDA-eligible candidates are preferred.Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Education, or a related field.Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents, preferably individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.Strong understanding of basic ABA principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong data collection, documentation, and organizational skills.Commitment to ethical, patient-centered, and evidence-based practice.Preferred:RBT, ABAT, QASP-S, BCaBA, or equivalent ABA-related certification.Previous experience implementing programs based on VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, PEAK, AFLS, or other standardized ABA assessment/curriculum tools.Experience working across clinic and school environments.Experience with electronic data collection and clinical documentation systems.Core CompetenciesPatient-centered approachCompassion and professionalismStrong observation and attention to detailEffective communicationTeam collaborationReliability and accountabilityAbility to receive and implement clinical feedbackFlexibility and adaptabilityCommitment to continuous learningRespect for patient dignity and individual differences
