Bespoke Furniture Production Manager

WE'RE HIRING | BESPOKE FURNITURE PRODUCTION MANAGER📍 Dubai, UAE🏢 The Bowery Company💼 Full-Time | Senior-Level PositionAs part of The Bowery Company's expansion into Bespoke Furniture, we are looking for an experienced and technically strong Bespoke Furniture Production Manager to lead and oversee our bespoke furniture production operations in Dubai.This is a senior, hands-on role requiring strong expertise in bespoke loose furniture manufacturing, upholstery, joinery, technical production, CNC processes, quality control, and factory operations.The successful candidate will oversee the complete production lifecycle — from technical development and production planning through manufacturing, quality control, delivery, installation, and final handover.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee end-to-end production of bespoke loose furniture including sofas, armchairs, dining chairs, tables, beds, consoles, benches, poufs, and other custom furniture pieces.
• Manage production planning, scheduling, manpower, machinery, materials, and workflow to achieve project deadlines.
• Review and approve shop drawings, furniture production drawings, sectional/construction details, fabrication drawings, BOMs, cutting lists, and material specifications before release for production.
• Provide technical solutions to ensure design concepts are translated into practical and manufacturable furniture.
• Oversee upholstery production, including timber/metal frames, foam specifications and densities, webbing/spring systems, fabrics, leather, stitching, piping, cushions, and final finishing.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of joinery and millwork, including cabinetry, wardrobes, vanities, TV units, wall panels, doors, shelving, and other custom joinery.
• Understand and coordinate CNC manufacturing processes, including routing, drilling, boring, nesting, cutting optimization, and CNC-ready production requirements.
• Coordinate closely with CAD Technicians, designers, procurement, production, QC, logistics, and installation teams.
• Manage and guide the Production Supervisor and factory team, ensuring productivity, workmanship, quality, and accountability.
• Conduct production and quality reviews throughout manufacturing and ensure all defects/non-conformities are rectified before dispatch.
• Coordinate prototypes, mock-ups, samples, materials, finishes, fabrics, hardware, and client/design approvals.
• Represent The Bowery Company professionally in technical discussions with clients, interior designers, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Oversee production through delivery, installation, snagging, and final handover.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant furniture/joinery manufacturing experience in UAE, preferably within luxury or high-end bespoke furniture.
• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory/production management role.
• Hands-on experience in bespoke loose furniture production in UAE is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of upholstery production and furniture construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of joinery and millwork manufacturing.
• Good understanding of CNC machinery and CNC-based furniture production processes.
• Strong ability to review AutoCAD production/shop drawings and detailed sectional drawings.
• Experience with BOMs, cutting lists, fabrication drawings, materials, hardware, and production documentation.
• Strong knowledge of timber, MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, metal, stone, glass, fabrics, leather, hardware, and specialist furniture finishes.
• Experience managing production supervisors, craftsmen, and factory teams.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC and furniture manufacturing standards.
• Strong client-facing, leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
