BESS Solution Engineer / Solution Manager

Location: Saudi Arabia / UAE / Türkiye / Uzbekistan / EgyptRole OverviewWe are looking for a BESS Solution Engineer/Manager to develop competitive technical solutions for utility-scale and commercial energy storage projects across international markets.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop customized BESS solutions based on customer requirements, site conditions, grid requirements, and project objectives.Define system architecture and support selection and integration of key equipment including batteries, PCS, BMS, and EMS.Lead technical discussions with customers and provide technical support during proposal and commercial negotiations.Evaluate project feasibility and ensure proposed solutions comply with applicable grid codes, industry standards, and local requirements.Review customer specifications and identify key technical requirements, risks, and deviations.Work closely with Sales, Engineering, R&D, and Delivery teams to develop technically and commercially competitive solutions.Track international energy storage markets, grid requirements, regulations, and technology trends to support product and business strategy.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Systems, or related fields.3+ years of energy storage industry experience, including 2+ years supporting international utility-scale BESS projects.Strong knowledge of BESS architecture, battery systems, PCS, BMS, EMS, and charging/discharging characteristics.Familiarity with international grid codes, grid connection requirements, and energy storage regulations.Experience in solution design, technical proposals, or project implementation.Fluent English for technical and business communication; additional regional languages are a plus.Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.Willingness to travel or be based in the region.
