The ideal candidate will oversee beverage concept creation, formulation, testing, quality management, supplier collaboration, and cross-functional execution while delivering innovative products aligned with consumer preferences and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement beverage development strategies, innovation pipelines, and product roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and market trends.Lead end-to-end beverage development processes from concept ideation and formulation through testing, commercialization, launch, and post-launch optimization.Collaborate with Product Development, Food & Beverage Operations, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and Executive Leadership to deliver successful beverage products.Create and optimize beverage formulations including flavor profiles, ingredients, nutritional attributes, sensory characteristics, packaging concepts, and production specifications.Conduct market research, consumer testing, sensory evaluations, competitor analysis, and trend assessments to identify new beverage opportunities.Manage product trials, pilot production runs, shelf-life testing, quality evaluations, and commercialization activities.Ensure beverage products comply with UAE food safety regulations, labeling requirements, quality standards, nutritional guidelines, and organizational policies.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including product development timelines, launch success rates, consumer acceptance, quality performance, production efficiency, cost targets, innovation pipeline progress, and market performance.Manage beverage development budgets, ingredient suppliers, flavor houses, co-manufacturers, laboratories, packaging partners, and external innovation providers.Drive digital transformation initiatives through product lifecycle management (PLM) systems, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered consumer analytics, predictive demand insights, formulation optimization tools, workflow automation, and business intelligence solutions.Utilize PLM platforms, ERP systems, sensory evaluation tools, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, market research platforms, project management software, and product analytics solutions to manage development performance and generate insights.Prepare executive presentations, innovation pipeline reports, product performance reviews, cost analyses, market insights, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.Lead, mentor, and develop beverage developers, food scientists, product specialists, quality teams, and cross-functional project teams while fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Food Science, Beverage Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Nutrition, Product Development, Hospitality Management, or a related field.Master's degree or professional certifications in Food Science, Beverage Innovation, Product Management, Food Safety, HACCP, or equivalent are highly advantageous.Minimum 5 years of experience in beverage development, food product development, formulation science, innovation management, or related roles.At least 2 years of experience managing beverage innovation projects, product development teams, commercialization programs, or cross-functional initiatives preferred.Strong understanding of beverage formulation, ingredient functionality, sensory science, food safety, product commercialization, manufacturing processes, and consumer trends.Experience with beverage development tools, PLM systems, ERP platforms, sensory analysis software, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, and project management software.Familiarity with AI-powered product innovation tools, consumer analytics platforms, predictive modeling, sustainable packaging technologies, and digital product development solutions is advantageous.Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, creativity, analytical thinking, project management, budgeting, supplier negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple beverage development initiatives while balancing innovation goals, quality standards, regulatory requirements, budgets, timelines, and commercial objectives.Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with distributed product
