"The goal is to turn data into information, and information into insight." Carly FiorinaThe 4 things that matter most:Hands-on SQL and Power BI. You still build it yourself. Power BI specifically — this is a Power BI shop.3+ years leading a BI team and owning the reporting platform. You've built and run the function, not just worked inside one.Executive-level storytelling with real commercial acumen. You turn analysis into a recommendation a CRO acts on, grounded in revenue analytics and sales effectiveness. You need to be a US citizen or Green Card holder. If all 4 are true, keep reading.About the companyThis is a legal technology business building cloud-based software for litigation workflows — eFiling, process serving, court syncing and case tracking — integrated directly into the practice management systems law firms already run on. Founded in 2000, around 3,000 people globally, profitable and bootstrapped, with a long track record across Australia and the UK.The US business is the interesting part. It holds under 5% of the US market today and is growing at more than 40% year on year. This is not a pre-revenue company reinventing itself, and it is not burning cash to find a model. It is a proven business in the early stages of a land grab in a very large market. The US team is small, and this role sits close to the centre of how that expansion gets measured and steered. For anyone weighing stability against upside, it is an unusual spot: the credibility and infrastructure of an established global company with the genuine energy of a growth moment. The roleThe Manager, Business Intelligence & Revenue Analytics sits at the intersection of data, commercial insight and people leadership. You work with the Director to shape the strategic direction of the BI and analytics function, and you are accountable for turning that direction into a prioritised roadmap, high-quality delivery, team performance and the development of your people. The remit covers how data is used to drive decisions across Product, Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations and executive leadership. You build the reporting frameworks, analyse performance trends, surface opportunities and risks, and make sure analytics investment lands in measurable outcomes. You also help shape customer-facing insights and product performance metrics that improve transparency and sharpen product decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role. You manage a small team — including one strong existing analyst — while personally owning complex analytical work. What you'll ownRevenue and sales analytics. Partner with sales leadership on reporting, forecasting and performance insight that supports pipeline health, customer growth, product adoption and revenue. Find the patterns in pipeline, churn and customer behaviour that turn into recommendations — underserved segments, at-risk accounts, pipeline risk — and present them in a way that actually moves decisions.Marketing analytics. Campaign performance, attribution, audience segmentation and the KPI reporting that tells marketing what is working, what is not, and where to put the next dollar. Define success metrics with marketing stakeholders and build the reporting that reflects them.KPI reporting and executive dashboards. Own the reporting frameworks and executive dashboards that give leadership consistent visibility across sales, marketing and operations. Reporting has to be accurate, timely and useful — flagging trends, anomalies and risks in a format leadership can act on.Data collaboration and systems. Work closely with Data Engineering to define analytics requirements and make sure business needs are reflected in data models, transformation logic, pipelines and reporting outputs. Define and document core business logic — revenue metrics, customer segmentation, product usage definitions — so reporting stays consistent. Set data standards and governance, build validation and reconciliation processes, and promote data literacy and self-service analytics across the business.Team leadership. Build and maintain the BI and analytics roadmap. Own intake, prioritisation and delivery, balancing stakeholder requests against business impact so the team stays on the highest-value work. Lead, mentor and develop a small team, set the standard for output quality and analytical rigour, review deliverables and coach — while remaining a hands-on contributor yourself. The shape of the jobA few things worth being clear about, because they're what make this role good. The decision matters more than the dashboard. The best work here is measured by what changed as a result — a segment the sales team went after, a risk leadership caught early. You'll have the access and the standing to make that happen. You stay close to the data. This is a builder's leadership role. You keep your hands in SQL and Power BI, own complex work yourself, and lead a small team alongside it. Data Engineering handles the pipelines; you shape what goes into them and what comes out. There's a foundation under you. The global business is mature and the core frameworks are supported out of head office, so you get the ownership and pace of a lean US team without starting from an empty page. What we're looking forNon-negotiableThree or more years leading a BI or analytics team and owning the reporting platform — building and running the function, not just strong technical skillsA track record of using data for commercial intelligence (revenue analytics in particular) and influencing change through storytelling and strategic thinkingStill hands-on and strong with SQL and Power BIExecutive-level storytelling: you can distil complex analysis into a clear, concise recommendation for senior leadershipBaselineSix to eight years in business intelligence, analytics, revenue operations or a closely related fieldB2B SaaS experience, with the ability to wear several hats in an ambiguous environmentWorking knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling, ETL and BI architectureNice to havePipeline or product adoption analysis and customer segmentationMarketing analytics exposureCompensation and eligibilityBase salary up to $170,000, depending on experience. Full-time and permanent, with no equity component, and a strong benefits package. One hard constraint: there is no visa sponsorship for this role. You need to be a US citizen or Green Card holder. What "remote" actually means hereThis one needs unpacking, because the role was repositioned recently and "remote" is doing specific work in this ad.It is remote, but geographically bounded. You can work from home, but you need to be based in a state west of and including Texas. Using Texas as the eastern boundary, that means: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington. The reason is time zones. The US business runs out of the West Coast, the global head office is in Sydney, and the overlap only works from the western half of the country. Candidates in New York, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta or Florida are not in scope for this one, however strong the profile. The San Francisco exception. If you are based in the Bay Area, the expectation flips: you'd be hybrid, three days a week in the SF office. The preference has always leaned toward having this person in San Francisco, and remote across the western states is the accommodation made to widen the pool — not the other way round. So in practice there are two versions of this job. Hybrid in San Francisco, three days on site. Or fully remote from anywhere in those seventeen states. Both are genuinely open; be clear which one you're applying for.Interested, or know someone who fits?
