BI Engineer – Migration Project Experience: 3 to 7 years Location: BangaloreNotice period : Immediate to 1week Max.Role OverviewBuilds and delivers high-impact, timely analytics solutions for our clients. He or She will efficiently convert legacy Tableau datasets, dashboards, and data flows to the go-forward Microsoft Power BI and Fabric environment. This includes conversion of data, logic, design, functions, and other aspects of the delivered product.Key ResponsibilitiesData conversion – connections, data models, imports, other aspects – and document/communicate any issues or delivery blocks for delivery leaders & client consideration.Logic conversion – calculations, filter logic, parameters, other components – and document/communicate any issues or delivery blocks for delivery leaders & client consideration.Design conversion – visualization types, layout, functionality, drill paths, other aspects – and document/communicate any issues or delivery blocks for delivery leaders & client consideration.Leverage Capgemini Report Conversion Protocol (RCP) and other accelerator assets.Leverage Microsoft Copilot for AI-enabled analysis and development where needed.Test load-time performance, resolve or document findings as needed.Apply standards and governance where appropriate given timelines and priorities.Address issues arising from client User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where required.Resolve issues arising from hypercare as needed.Communicate issues, questions, and progress.Required Skills & ExperienceEfficient development process across high volumes of BI content.Extensive Power BI experience regarding data connections, data model, logic, visualization types, functions, and other relevant aspects of development.Tableau knowledge of data connections, data model, logic, visualization types, functions, and other aspects relevant to migration/conversion.Power BI performance testing and factors to assess/adjust where possible.Ability to communicate effectively with pod team leads, team members, project managers, and other delivery leads.Ability to accurately document blocks, questions, and other issues.3-7+ years of relevant experience.
