BI Manager

Role DescriptionA BI Manager is responsible for leading business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, and dashboard development to support data-driven business decisions. The role manages BI projects, data solutions, reporting processes, and analytics teams while ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and actionable insights.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the organization's business intelligence, analytics, and reporting activities.Manage BI projects, priorities, timelines, resources, and deliverables.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.Analyze business data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.Work with business teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements.Design and maintain data models, reporting structures, and BI solutions.Coordinate data integration from multiple systems and business sources.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, security, and availability.Manage and optimize BI platforms, databases, reporting tools, and analytics processes.Lead data visualization and reporting standards across the organization.Monitor business performance and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, sales, marketing, and management teams.Supervise, mentor, and develop BI analysts, data analysts, and reporting team members.Prepare management reports, executive dashboards, and strategic performance updates.Support data governance, access controls, documentation, and compliance requirements.Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, analytics capabilities, automation, and business performance.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.Previous experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or data management is preferred.Experience managing BI projects and leading analytics or reporting teams.Strong knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar BI platforms.Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with databases and data warehouses.Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, data visualization, and business analytics.Strong understanding of KPIs, performance reporting, dashboards, and business metrics.Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Excel, SQL Server, Azure, or similar technologies is advantageous.Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and leadership abilities.Strong attention to data accuracy, quality, security, and detail.Ability to manage multiple BI projects, priorities, and deadlines.Professional, analytical, proactive, organized, and results-oriented.
