BI Manager

Role DescriptionA BI Manager is responsible for leading business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, and dashboard initiatives. The role ensures accurate data, meaningful insights, and effective reporting to support business performance and data-driven decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement BI strategies, standards, and reporting processes.Lead BI projects, analytics initiatives, dashboards, and reporting solutions.Manage, mentor, and develop BI analysts, developers, and data professionals.Oversee data collection, integration, transformation, and analysis.Develop dashboards, reports, KPIs, and business performance metrics.Ensure data accuracy, quality, consistency, and security.Translate business requirements into effective BI and analytics solutions.Analyze business performance, trends, opportunities, and operational data.Coordinate with management and departments to identify reporting requirements.Manage BI platforms, databases, reporting tools, and data models.Monitor project timelines, resources, deliverables, and performance.Present business insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior management.Improve reporting automation, data processes, and analytical efficiency.Maintain BI documentation, governance, and reporting best practices.Stay updated on BI, analytics, data technologies, and industry developments.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.Relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or data management.Experience managing BI teams, data projects, and reporting initiatives.Strong proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, data modeling, and reporting.Experience with ETL, data integration, and data warehouse concepts.Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and management reports.Good understanding of business processes and performance analysis.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Knowledge of Python, R, or cloud data platforms is advantageous.Understanding of data governance, security, and quality practices.Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.Professional, organized, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
