Bhoomi is ISO 9001:2015 certified and operates with efficient processes and robust quality management systems.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bid Manager role based in Thane. The Bid Manager will oversee the end-to-end bid lifecycle, including planning, coordinating, and submitting competitive bids and proposals for gas and liquid analyzer projects and related solutions. Responsibilities include analyzing tender documents, defining bid strategies, preparing compliant and compelling technical and commercial responses, and collaborating with sales, engineering, and finance teams to gather required inputs. The role also involves maintaining standardized bid processes, tracking bid progress and outcomes, ensuring timely submission, and continuously improving templates and documentation. The Bid Manager will support post-bid clarifications, participate in negotiations when required, and contribute to forecasting and pipeline management.Key Responsibilities:Manage complete tender lifecycle on the GeM portal (bid participation to order execution)Identify relevant tenders, evaluate eligibility, and prepare bid submissionsHandle technical and commercial documentation for tendersCoordinate with internal teams for pricing, product specifications, and complianceMonitor bid status, follow-ups, and ensure timely responsesMaintain records of submitted tenders, approvals, and documentationEnsure compliance with government procurement norms and policiesTrack order processing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups through GeMStay updated with changes in GeM policies and proceduresKey Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred: Engineering/Management)2–6 years of experience in GeM tender handling or government tenderingStrong knowledge of GeM portal operationsFamiliarity with MS Excel, Word, and documentation processesGood understanding of technical specifications (preferred for engineering products)Excellent communication and coordination skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesPreferred SkillsExperience in e-procurement platforms apart from GeMKnowledge of government tendering normsAnalytical and negotiation skillsQualificationsDemonstrated expertise in bid-focused activities such as Bid Preparation and Bid Writing, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and persuasive documentation.Experience in Bid Management and Proposal Management, including coordinating cross-functional inputs and managing multiple bids within defined timelines.Strong understanding of Bid Processes, with capability to implement and refine structured workflows, checklists, and compliance reviews.Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; experience in process industries or analytical instrumentation is an advantage.Proficient in MS Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with tender portals and documentation systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to analyze technical and commercial requirements.Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative working style, with the ability to engage effectively with sales, technical, and management teams on-site in Thane.
