Big Data Administrator

Implement and manage Big Data platforms including Hadoop Cluster management (CDP, CML, NIFI) within Cloudera environments.Integrate source systems into the Big Data platform ensuring seamless data flow.Perform performance tuning and optimization to enhance scalability and efficiency.Manage release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization for Big Data applications.Oversee infrastructure and hardware configurations across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.Conduct capacity planning, sizing, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and ITSCM aligned with ITIL practices.Implement security controls, manage vulnerabilities, configure security agents, apply patches, and coordinate penetration testing.Handle stakeholder and vendor management effectively.Manage daily operational activities including monitoring, reporting, and performance management.Required Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.10–13 years of experience in Big Data platform implementations, source system integration, and performance tuning.Strong expertise in Hadoop cluster management within Cloudera environments (CDP, CML, NIFI).Experience with release management, CI/CD, and containerization.Knowledge of infrastructure across on-premise, hybrid cloud, and cloud environments.Hands-on experience in capacity planning, disaster recovery, business continuity, and ITSCM.Familiarity with security controls, vulnerability management, patching, and penetration testing.Experience in stakeholder and vendor management.Relevant Big Data or Cloudera certifications are preferred
