Bilingual Service SupportDetroit, MI · On-site · Full-timeAbout the roleOur client, an established distribution company, is looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) Customer Service Support team member. You'll be the friendly, dependable point of contact for customers and the internal sales team on orders, shipments, product information, and inventory availability. You'll also help keep reporting and shipping processes running smoothly behind the scenes.What you'll doRespond to customer and sales team inquiries about orders, shipment status, product information, inventory availability, complaints, and custom stocking programsMeet a 2-hour call-back standard and serve as a customer advocate to ensure total satisfactionSupport monthly operations reporting, including on-time shipment, accuracy, and expedite metrics, and enter data into logs and spreadsheetsAssist with warehouse transfer, repack, and relabel processes in the company's ERP systemMake thank-you survey calls to new customers and help them complete the surveyDocument customer complaints and route them to the Customer Service ManagerCross-train on Service Specialist duties to provide team backup and PTO coverageTake part in continuous improvement meetings and help the team get better every dayWhat you'll bringFluency in English and Spanish, spoken and writtenAt least 2 years of customer service experience (industry-related experience is a plus)Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExcellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projectsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfort with basic math, including fractions and decimals, and the ability to follow written work instructions and procedure manualsIntegrity, initiative, a positive attitude, and dependable attendanceSchedule and payMonday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a 1-hour lunchFull-time, hourly, non-exemptPay: $24 – $26 per hour
