The organization values professional growth, collaboration, and adherence to best practices in education and school operations.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Health and Safety Officer role based in Dubai. The Health and Safety Officer will oversee the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental policies across the school campus. Daily responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, inspections, and audits; identifying hazards; recommending corrective actions; and ensuring compliance with local regulations and school guidelines. The role involves delivering health and safety training, maintaining incident and accident records, coordinating emergency preparedness and drills, and liaising with local authorities and external partners when required. The Officer will work closely with school leadership, facilities teams, and teaching staff to promote a strong safety culture and support the wellbeing of all students and employees.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Workplace Safety skills, with experience implementing safety protocols in an institutional or educational setting.Candidates should possess Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skills, including familiarity with relevant regulations and best practices.Candidates should possess NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety certification, demonstrating formal training and competency in the field.Candidates should have knowledge of local UAE health and safety regulations, risk assessment methods, and incident reporting procedures.Candidates should possess effective communication and training skills, with the ability to engage staff and students and promote a proactive safety culture.Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergencies.A relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.Prior experience in a school or similar multi-site environment is beneficial, along with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
