Billing Analytics and Reconciliation Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Billing Analytics & Reconciliation Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical finance professional with a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle operations, billing reconciliation, and financial controls within a UAE hospital environment.The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring billing accuracy, revenue integrity, reconciliation of financial transactions, and the development of robust control frameworks to support operational and financial excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will focus on the review, reconciliation, analysis, and follow-up of the following areas:Discounts review and validationInvestigation and resolution of unclear depositsRefund reconciliation and monitoringReconciliation of orders dropped but not charged (Cerner vs RHES)Follow-up on payments and outstanding balancesCoordination and follow-up on legal cases impacting collectionsPreparation of monthly departmental reports, dashboards, and KPI analysisIdentification and investigation of billing exceptions and revenue leakage risksDevelopment and enhancement of control frameworks and exception-based MIS reportingCollaboration with finance, operations, billing, and clinical stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve processesSupport revenue assurance initiatives through data analysis and reconciliation activitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldProven experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Billing Operations, Finance Operations, or ReconciliationPrior experience within a UAE hospital or healthcare setting is essentialStrong understanding of hospital billing processes, charge capture, and revenue cycle workflowsExperience with interface reconciliations and charge capture monitoringSkills & CompetenciesAdvanced Excel skills, including:Power QueryPivot TablesXLOOKUP/VLOOKUPError Trapping and Data ValidationProficiency in Power BI or similar Business Intelligence toolsStrong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilitiesExperience designing and implementing financial control frameworksAbility to produce meaningful management information reports and KPI dashboardsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both finance and non-finance stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can leverage data, analytics, and reconciliation expertise to improve revenue integrity and support informed business decision-making.
