Billing Coordinator

The Billing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily billing and claims activities, ensuring accurate patient invoicing, insurance claim preparation, and documentation in compliance with payer requirements and internal policies.JOB SCOPE- Patient billing and invoicing- Insurance claims coordination- Billing documentation and verification- Payer and patient communication- Revenue cycle supportJOB REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEEducations and Certificates:- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field- Medical billing or coding certification is an advantageExperience:- Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in healthcare billing or revenue cycle- Experience in LTC, rehabilitation, or hospital settings preferredSKILLS AND PORFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE- Strong understanding of healthcare billing and revenue cycle processes- Knowledge of insurer workflows, and claim submission- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry- Basic reporting and reconciliation skills- Strong communication and follow-up skillsLANGUAGEProficiency in written, read and spoken Arabic and English languagesROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (But not limited to)GENERAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITESSupport accurate and timely billing activitiesEnsure compliance with billing policies and payer requirementsCoordinate closely with admissions, clinical teams, and financeESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and verify patient invoices and billing documentsEnsure accurate charge entry and reconciliationSupport insurance eligibility verification and pre-authorizationsPrepare and submit insurance claims through NPHIESFollow up on outstanding claims and billing issuesCoordinate with insurers to resolve billing discrepanciesMaintain accurate billing records and documentationAssist in denial tracking and resubmission processesRespond to patient and internal inquiries related to billingSupport audits, reconciliations, and financial reviews
