Department: BIMDesignation: EngineerVacancies: 2Experience: 1–5 yearsReporting to: Shalini MondalRole OverviewPinnacle is looking for an Architectural Draftsman with strong AutoCAD skills to support U.S.

Residential Home Builder projects. The role involves preparing accurate architectural drawings, incorporating client revisions, and delivering permit and construction drawing sets within agreed timelines.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and revise residential architectural drawings using AutoCAD.Develop floor plans, site plans, roof plans, exterior elevations, building sections, and construction details.Prepare foundation and framing plans based on approved design inputs and consultant drawings.Produce permit and construction drawing sets in accordance with client standards and project requirements.Interpret architectural, structural, and consultant drawings and accurately incorporate redline markups.Coordinate with Project Delivery Heads, Project Managers, Team Leads, and Quality teams to resolve drawing discrepancies.Communicate with clients and project teams to clarify requirements and track revisions.Perform self-quality checks to ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Maintain project documentation, drawing files, and version control.Support work planning and knowledge sharing within the team to meet delivery timelines.Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.1–5 years of relevant experience in residential architectural drafting using AutoCAD.Experience in U.S. Residential Home Builder projects is highly preferred.Mandatory SkillsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD.Sound understanding of residential construction methods and architectural detailing.Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.Ability to read redline markups and accurately incorporate revisions.Strong spoken and written English communication skills.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.Attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to work collaboratively.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of U.S. residential building practices and construction documentation.Understanding of residential wood-frame construction.Exposure to production housing workflows, including plan options, elevation variations, and drawing revisions.Experience preparing residential permit and construction drawing sets.📩 Apply now or share your profile at sunitas@pinnacleinfotech.com
