BIM Coordinator

Role Description The BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling activities across multidisciplinary project teams for الأمباط القابضة | Ambatt. This full-time, on-site role is based in Riyadh and involves overseeing BIM workflows, maintaining model standards, and ensuring accurate and timely information exchange between architecture, structural, and MEP stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and updating project models, performing clash detection, resolving coordination issues, and preparing model-based documentation for design reviews and construction. The BIM Coordinator collaborates closely with project managers, designers, and engineers to support project delivery, optimize model quality, and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. The role also includes training team members on BIM best practices, supporting implementation of new BIM tools, and contributing to continuous improvement of digital project delivery processes.Qualifications Strong BIM Coordination skills, including managing multidisciplinary models and resolving design and construction conflicts.Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms and tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks or similar) and familiarity with BIM standards and protocols.Background in Architecture or a related built-environment discipline, with the ability to interpret drawings, models, and specifications.Knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their coordination within integrated BIM models.Project Management skills to plan BIM activities, track progress, and support timely project delivery.Experience in model-based clash detection, issue tracking, and reporting for design and construction teams.Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and commitment to data accuracy and quality.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional internal and external teams.Relevant technical degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Prior experience in BIM coordination for medium to large-scale projects; experience in the Saudi or GCC construction market is an advantage.
