Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe ideal candidate should have strong experience in precast BIM coordination, Revit, model coordination, clash detection, shop drawings, and production requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage BIM models for precast concrete projects throughout the design, production, and installation stages.Review and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and precast models to identify and resolve clashes and design discrepancies.Coordinate with Structural Engineers, BIM Modelers, Detailers, Production, QA/QC, and Site/Erection teams.Review precast shop drawings, fabrication drawings, production drawings, and erection drawings for accuracy and coordination.Ensure precast elements, reinforcement, embedded items, openings, lifting anchors, connections, and other components are properly coordinated within the BIM model.Conduct regular clash detection and model coordination using appropriate BIM coordination software.Review design and shop drawing revisions and ensure approved changes are properly incorporated into BIM models.Identify constructability and production issues at the modeling stage and coordinate appropriate solutions with the relevant teams.Ensure BIM models comply with project requirements, BIM standards, naming conventions, Level of Development (LOD), and company procedures.Maintain model integrity, accuracy, version control, and proper document coordination.Generate and review model-based quantities, schedules, and relevant BIM data as required.Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on BIM-related technical matters when required.Support the preparation and submission of BIM deliverables in accordance with project schedules.Monitor the progress and quality of BIM deliverables produced by BIM Modelers and Detailers.Provide technical guidance to junior BIM team members and review their work for accuracy and compliance.Assist in developing and improving BIM workflows, standards, and coordination procedures within the precast factory.Support the transition of approved BIM information to production and site/erection teams.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, BIM, or a related field.5–8 years of relevant BIM experience, with significant experience in precast concrete projects.Strong knowledge of precast construction, structural components, reinforcement, connections, embedded items, and erection requirements.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, model review, and technical drawing coordination.Good understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.Experience preparing or reviewing precast shop, fabrication, production, and erection drawings.Knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, LOD requirements, and document control.UAE/GCC experience in precast, construction, or façade projects is preferred.
