BIM Electrical Modeler

Role Description The BIM Electrical Modeler is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role involves developing detailed BIM models for electrical systems within building projects, ensuring accurate representation of designs and coordination with other disciplines. The BIM Electrical Modeler will work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and construction teams to interpret construction drawings, update models, and resolve design clashes. Daily tasks include maintaining model standards, producing documentation and schedules, and supporting project teams with technical input throughout the design and construction lifecycle.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with practical experience in electrical systems modeling.Experience collaborating with Architecture teams and other disciplines to integrate electrical designs into coordinated building models.Ability to work as a Modeler on complex projects, creating, updating, and managing detailed 3D models and related documentation.Knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination, including clash detection and resolution within BIM environments.Ability to read, interpret, and produce Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, MEP engineering, or a related field.Experience with industry-standard BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and adherence to BIM execution plans and standards.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams.
