Location: Mangalore, Karnataka, IndiaExperience: 8–10 YearsIndustry: Infrastructure | Water & Wastewater | Heavy IndustrialAbout Petrocon Engineers & ConsultantsEstablished in 2011, Petrocon Engineers & Consultants is a global multidisciplinary engineering and project services company with 2,200+ professionals and contributions to 600+ projects.With a presence across India, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the USA, Singapore, and Australia, Petrocon delivers detailed engineering, BIM, 3D modelling, and project execution support across Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Water, Power, and various industrial sectors.Our focus is on delivering coordinated, constructible, and execution-ready engineering solutions that improve project outcomes.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced BIM Lead – Architecture & Structure to lead Architectural and Structural BIM delivery for a major Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) project.The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, RCC structural modelling, and multidisciplinary BIM coordination, with experience in water-retaining structures, industrial buildings, and infrastructure projects.The role requires close coordination with Structural, Architectural, Process, and MEP engineering teams to ensure accurate models, effective clash resolution, and construction-ready deliverables.Key Responsibilities1.

Architectural & Structural BIM ModellingLead the development of Revit Architecture and Structure models at LOD 300/350.Develop and coordinate BIM models for bioreactors, clarifiers, concrete tanks, industrial sheds, and administrative buildings.Manage complex concrete geometry, including variable wall thicknesses, tapered retaining walls, sludge hoppers, and raft foundations.Oversee architectural modelling of industrial buildings, including fire-rated partitions, industrial finishes, and acoustic treatments.2. BIM Coordination & Clash DetectionPerform multidisciplinary clash detection and resolution using Navisworks Manage.Coordinate Architectural and Structural BIM models with Process and MEP systems.Manage Builder's Work in Connection (BWIC) workflows, including wall and slab penetrations.Coordinate steel structures, platforms, catwalks, and crane girders with process equipment.Ensure adequate equipment clearances, structural integrity, and maintenance accessibility.3. BIM Documentation & StandardsOversee the preparation of General Arrangement (GA) drawings, sections, elevations, and structural documentation.Ensure compliance with Employer Information Requirements (EIR) and project LOD standards.Maintain accurate structural annotations, dimensions, tagging, and drawing quality.Manage model coordination, shared coordinates, structural grids, and level systems.4.
