BIM Manager / Lead

BIM Manager / LeadOverviewGeotech 3D is seeking a senior BIM Manager / Lead to own BIM delivery, standards, and team leadership across complex, multidisciplinary mega-projects.The role will lead the BIM function end-to-end — strategy, standards, workflows, and team — ensuring ISO 19650-compliant, data-rich, clash-free delivery across all trades and disciplines.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce BIM strategy, standards, and workflows aligned with ISO 19650 and client EIRs.
• Author and own the BEP, TIDP/MIDP, naming conventions, and CDE structure and governance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage BIM coordinators and modellers, both onsite and offsite.
• Supervise and review shop drawings (ARC & STR) and establish drawing quality review checklists.
• Direct multidisciplinary coordination, clash resolution, and model federation across Architecture, Structure, and MEP.
• Oversee model quality, health, and QA/QC through each project stage (Stage 5/6).
• Govern COBie / asset data and PIM-to-AIM handover for operational readiness.
• Manage 4D/5D coordination and integration with programme and cost workflows.
• Interface with clients, consultants, and leadership on BIM deliverables, progress, and risk. Subcontractors & Supply Chain
• Set modelling standards, LOD, and submission requirements for subcontractors and specialist trades.
• Review, validate, and integrate subcontractor shop/fabrication models into the federated environment.
• Track supply-chain deliverables against the MIDP and drive interface clashes to resolution. Mega-Project Scope
• Own BIM delivery across multiple building components and disciplines in one federated environment.
• Lead multi-party teams, including clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, to consistent standards.
• Maintain model performance and data integrity at scale through audits and QA/QC.
• Deliver against stage-gated milestones, EIRs, and As-Built / PIM-to-AIM handover. Requirements
• Minimum 8 years' BIM experience in the AEC industry, with proven leadership on major projects.
• Advanced Revit; Navisworks / Revizto / Solibri; AutoCAD; CDE platforms (ACC, Aconex, ProjectWise).
• Expert knowledge of ISO 19650, LOD/LOIN, COBie, and BIM information management.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery/programme awareness.Preferred
• Hospitality, mixed-use, or infrastructure mega-project leadership.
• 4D/5D, Dynamo/automation, and design management exposure.
