BIM Modeler - MEP

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced MEP BIM Modeler with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on UAE/Gulf project experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Revit MEP, a solid understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems, and proven experience working on Gulf-region construction and infrastructure projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary BIM teams to deliver accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready models.Key Responsibilities* Develop, model, and manage MEP systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Drainage) using Revit in accordance with project specifications and standards* Coordinate closely with Architectural, Structural, and other MEP disciplines to identify and resolve design clashes* Conduct clash detection and coordination using Navisworks, generate clash reports, and track resolution* Prepare and update shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation* Ensure all models comply with project LOD (Level of Development) requirements, BEP (BIM Execution Plan), and ISO 19650 standards* Extract quantities and schedules from BIM models to support estimation and procurement* Maintain version control, model accuracy, and consistency across project phases* Collaborate with site engineers and project managers to resolve on-site technical queries and design clarifications* Attend BIM coordination meetings and document meeting minutes/action items* Support the BIM Manager/Lead in maintaining model federation and coordination workflows* Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverable schedules.Required Qualifications & Experience* Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field* Minimum 3+ years of experience as an MEP BIM Modeler, with prior experience on UAE/Gulf-based projects (mandatory)* Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360/ACC* Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Drainage systems* Familiarity with UAE authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, ADDC, Trakhees, Civil Defense) is an advantage* Sound understanding of LOD standards, BEP documentation, and ISO 19650 workflows* Strong clash detection, coordination, and problem-solving skills* Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment* Must be locally available in UAE and able to join immediately.Preferred Attributes* Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects in the Gulf* Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced project environment* Detail-oriented with strong quality control practices
