Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a leading producer of biogas to recruit a Site Operator for their renewable energy plant near Mansfield.The Site Operative plays a vital part in ensuring the site is run correctly and high standards of health & safety are maintained. The role comes with a salary of up to £35,000 and excellent benefits packageIf you have a background working in anaerobic digestion or a similar processing environment and are looking to work for an organisation that is passionate about renewable energy, then upload your CV to todayResponsibilities and duties of the Biogas Site Operator roleReporting To The Plant Manager You WillSupport with the day to day running of the anaerobic digestion plantCarrying out basic first line maintenance, such as isolating and changing pumpsOperating mobile plant, such as a telehandler or loading shovelTake part in the on-call rotaMonitoring the pant via the SCADAKeeping the site clean and tidyMaintaining high levels of health & safetyOther duties as requiredProfessional QualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:Telehandler/Loading Shovel/Tractor Licence or in-house training Engineering qualification/certificate is desiredFull UK Driving LicencePersonal skillsThe Biogas Site Operator role would suit someone who is:Previous operator experience in a similar processing environmentMobile plant experienceFirst line maintenance experienceAgricultural experience is highly desiredGreat work ethicSalary and benefits of the Biogas Site Operator roleBasic salary of up to £35,000Excellent benefits packageThe chance to join a leading business within the renewable energy sectorAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
