Bioinformatician

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative bioinformatics analyst that will contribute ideas to implement automate and improve existing analysis methods, assist with establishing and documenting protocols or best practices for common scientific tasks, develop and deploy state-of-art computational infrastructure, analytical pipelines, and conduct broad, multi-omics deep genomic analysis of experimental models and for cancers.Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS): Strong understanding and hands-on experience with NGS workflows. Experience with Illumina sequencing platforms is a strong plus.Exome Analysis: Practical experience with exome data analysis, including variant analysis and interpretation workflows.BaseSpace: Hands-on experience with Illumina BaseSpace and familiarity with its NGS data analysis and management capabilities.Linux: Good working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, including command-line tools and basic scripting.Bioinformatics Pipelines: Experience developing, implementing, or using bioinformatics analysis pipelines. Familiarity with Nextflow is a strong plus, as we may adopt this framework for future workflow development and deployment.Additional ConsiderationsAbility to provide hands-on, local technical support to customers and internal teams.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate complex bioinformatics concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
