CurveAssure is built by engineers and clinicians who believe that how a patient moves is highly informative yet rarely captured consistently.Role Description The Biomechanics Lab Coordinator will support the setup, operation, and maintenance of the biomechanics lab in Towson, MD. This part-time role involves preparing and organizing data collection sessions, ensuring accurate and consistent capture of movement data, and assisting with the calibration, routine checks, and basic troubleshooting of equipment. The coordinator will follow established protocols for data quality and documentation, help implement quality control procedures, and collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and engineering staff to facilitate smooth patient and study workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating scheduling, maintaining a safe and orderly lab space, communicating clearly with staff and participants about procedures, and supporting ongoing improvement of lab processes.Pay: $30-$50/hr depending on experience. QualificationsCandidates must have experience working in a biomechanics motion capture lab (Vicon or Qualisys). They should possess strong laboratory skills, including hands‑on experience with equipment and basic lab procedures.Candidates should possess experience with quality control practices and analytical skills for monitoring data integrity and equipment performance.Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for interacting with clinical staff, research teams, and participants.Candidates should possess attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow standardized protocols in a clinical or research setting.Relevant qualifications may include coursework or experience in biomechanics, kinesiology, biomedical engineering, physical therapy, or related fields.Experience in clinical research, motion analysis, or medical device environments is beneficial.Ability to stand and move within clinic and lab spaces, and to handle light equipment setup and transport as needed.Comfort working on-site in Towson, MD, in a part-time capacity with a flexible schedule aligned to clinic and study needs.
