The environment emphasizes holistic care, professional excellence, and visible, long-lasting results.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Biomedical Engineer role based at 360 Skin Clinic in Colombo. The Biomedical Engineer will oversee the safe installation, calibration, and operation of medical and aesthetic equipment used in the clinic. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs, and maintaining accurate service records. The role involves collaborating with clinical staff to ensure devices meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturer specifications. The Biomedical Engineer will also support equipment procurement decisions, participate in user training, and contribute to continuous improvement of technology-based clinical processes.Qualifications Strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with knowledge of medical and aesthetic technologies.Hands-on experience with Medical Equipment and Equipment Maintenance, including installation, calibration, and repair.Demonstrated ability to plan and perform Preventive Maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.Understanding of healthcare safety standards, regulatory compliance, and device documentation practices.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams and communicate technical information clearly.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient and client safety.Experience in dermatology, aesthetics, or clinic-based medical devices is an advantage.
