Company Description Orienda Polyclinic and Maternity, established in 2018, is a private healthcare institution delivering comprehensive medical services in the Kingdom of Cambodia. The hospital offers consultation and treatment in infertility, obstetrics, gynecology, cardiology, pediatrics, general checkups, and emergency care, tailored to meet diverse patient needs. Orienda is staffed by experienced physicians with national and international backgrounds and specialized expertise. The facility is equipped with modern medical equipment, laboratories, operating theaters, delivery rooms, and patient rooms designed by foreign medical engineers to ensure comfort and international-quality care.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Biomedical Engineer role based at Orienda International Hospital in Stueng Mean Chey. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning medical equipment, ensuring that all devices are safe, functional, and compliant with relevant standards. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of equipment, as well as diagnosing and resolving technical issues in coordination with clinical staff. The role involves maintaining accurate service and maintenance records, supporting equipment procurement and evaluation, and collaborating with suppliers and service providers. The Biomedical Engineer will also contribute to staff training on proper equipment use and support continuous improvement of clinical engineering processes within the hospital.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles in a healthcare environment.Hands-on experience with Medical Equipment, including installation, configuration, testing, and technical troubleshooting.Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance, with a focus on safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.Knowledge of relevant healthcare standards and regulations, and familiarity with hospital workflows.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams and communicate technical information clearly.Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail and adherence to procedures.Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting in Cambodia or internationally is an advantage.
