The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining a range of medical equipment to ensure accurate and safe operation. Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs, and documenting service activities in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. The role involves working closely with clinical teams to understand equipment needs, training users on proper operation, and supporting equipment lifecycle management, including upgrades and replacements.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering to support medical technology across healthcare settings.Candidates should possess skills in Medical Equipment handling and Equipment Maintenance, including troubleshooting and repair of diagnostic and therapeutic devices.Candidates should possess skills in Preventive Maintenance, ensuring regular inspections, testing, and calibration of equipment to minimize downtime.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.Understanding of healthcare standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements for medical devices.Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clinical, technical, and vendor teams on-site.Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical equipment service environment is an advantage.
