The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining medical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation in clinical settings. Day-to-day activities include performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating repairs with vendors, and documenting service activities. The role involves collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to assess equipment needs, support technology upgrades, and ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards. The Biomedical Engineer will also contribute to training healthcare staff on proper equipment use and supporting continuous improvement of equipment management processes.Qualifications Strong foundation in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles in healthcare environments.Hands-on experience with Medical Equipment and related technologies, including installation, calibration, and performance verification.Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliability, safety, and minimal downtime.Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.Knowledge of healthcare safety standards, regulatory requirements, and medical device documentation practices.Ability to diagnose technical issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions under time constraints.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with clinical staff, vendors, and management teams.Attention to detail, organized work habits, and the ability to manage multiple maintenance tasks and priorities.Previous experience in a hospital or clinical engineering department is an advantage.
