Biomedical Engineer

Role Description Update the inventory machine list and Medical Equipment Asset Code, ME summary of all medical equipment using in Hospital.
To plan and implement the scheduled of Preventive Maintenance program and Calibration Program for medical equipment.
Coordinate with supplier’s Engineer for repair, calibration and Maintenance procedure according to Hospital Contract Policy.
Handling of equipment user complaint (Corrective Maintenance).
To do all purchase request, capital expenditure request, service request to Supply Chain Department and all recorded in soft copy.
Training technician or clinical staff (to know type of equipment and available area, function and Application, cleaning and disinfection procedure, troubleshooting of minor problem of medical Equipment).
Handle the equipment during oversea project like Angiogram, laparoscopic and Arthroscopic surgery.To cooperate with Quality Control team for JCIA requirement such as department policy and Service Improvement Plan.
Update the Maintenance record of Preventive Maintenance of medical Equipment.
To check and update the record of Department store list.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.Candidates should possess strong Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering skills, with a solid understanding of hospital-based technology and systems.Candidates should possess practical Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills, with the ability to follow maintenance schedules and safety procedures.Knowledge of healthcare safety standards, regulatory requirements, and medical device quality assurance practices.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation, and to maintain accurate records.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clinical staff, vendors, and cross-functional teams.Prior experience in a hospital or clinical engineering department is an advantage; familiarity with JCI or similar accreditation standards is beneficial.
