The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining medical equipment in clinical and hospital environments. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs with vendors, and ensuring all devices meet safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves collaborating with clinical staff to support equipment usage, documenting maintenance activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of clinical engineering processes. The Biomedical Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability in patient care settings.QualificationsStrong foundation in Biomedical Engineering and Clinical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to medical technologies.Hands-on experience with Medical Equipment, including installation, calibration, and performance verification.Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices for a range of clinical devices.Knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and medical device compliance requirements.Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.Ability to interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and equipment specifications.Effective communication skills for collaborating with clinical staff, vendors, and technical teams.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a clinical environment.Prior experience in a hospital or clinical engineering department is highly beneficial.
