Biomedical Engineer
Location: Sangareddy, TelanganaExperience: 2–5 YearsQualification: B.E./B.Tech, Diploma in Biomedical EngineeringJob SummaryWe are looking for a Biomedical Engineer to manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and safe functioning of medical equipment across the hospital, including Blood Bank equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage preventive and breakdown maintenance of medical equipment.Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate timely repairs.Handle medical equipment across ICU, OT, Emergency, Wards, Laboratories and Blood Bank.Coordinate equipment installation, testing, commissioning and calibration.Coordinate with OEMs and service vendors for repairs and technical support.Manage AMC/CMC, warranty and service schedules.Maintain equipment inventory, service history, PM records and breakdown reports.Monitor equipment downtime and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.Support technical evaluation and procurement of medical equipment.Maintain documentation as per hospital quality and NABH requirements.Coordinate with doctors, nurses, technicians, laboratory and Blood Bank teams.Key SkillsBiomedical Equipment Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Calibration, Equipment Installation & Commissioning, AMC/CMC Management, Vendor Coordination, Equipment Inventory Management, NABH Documentation, MS Excel, Problem Solving and Equipment Safety.Preferred Equipment ExposureICU: Ventilators, Patient Monitors, Infusion Pumps, Syringe Pumps, Defibrillators and ECG Machines.OT: Anaesthesia Machines, Electrosurgical Units/Cautery, OT Equipment and Suction Units.Blood Bank: Blood Bank Refrigerators, Plasma Freezers, Platelet Incubators/Agitators, Blood Component Separators and other Blood Bank equipment.Laboratory/Diagnostic: Relevant laboratory and diagnostic equipment.Candidate ProfileB.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering.2–5 years of relevant hospital experience preferred.Strong hands-on experience in medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.Working knowledge/exposure to Blood Bank equipment is required.Experience in a hospital, medical college hospital, multispeciality or NABH-accredited hospital preferred.Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.Ability to handle critical equipment breakdowns and work effectively in a hospital environment.Age: 25–35 years preferred.Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period preferred.
