Medical Field Service EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Medical Device Engineer for a global leading manufacturer of test and analytical systems for the clinical and pharmaceutical industries. This role will be covering the Paris/North East France region with some occasional travel to other regions when required.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOnsite and remote troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration and repairs on medical equipmentCompleting Preventative Maintenance and field modifications or upgrades in certain time frames.Troubleshooting not only on a mechanical/electrical level but understand and troubleshoot on an application level.Working as a member of a larger team but independently managing their territory to provide efficient service support to all customers within an assigned area.Essential ExperienceThree years’ work experience in the medical device or life sciences industries is preferred.Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.Desirable ExperienceBachelor’s degree, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering TechnologyAbility to travel on short notice and stay overnight.KEYWORDS: MEDICAL DEVICE, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, MEDICAL ENGINEERING
