Biomedical Technician

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Biomedical Technician role based in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam. The Biomedical Technician will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining medical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing technical issues, carrying out repairs, and documenting maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory and safety standards. The role involves collaborating with clinical staff to respond to equipment-related requests, prioritizing urgent issues, and providing basic user guidance on proper equipment handling. The technician will also support continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring equipment performance, recommending upgrades, and assisting with inventory and lifecycle management.QualificationsStrong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for clinical and technical devices.Experience working with a range of Medical Equipment in a healthcare or clinical setting.Knowledge of Electrical Safety standards and best practices in medical environments.Background in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.Relevant technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in biomedical technology, engineering, or equivalent field.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple service requests.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical and technical teams.Familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements for medical devices; experience in hospital or clinic settings is an advantage.
