This role is responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining medical equipment used in hospital and home-care environments, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Daily tasks include performing routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting repairs, and documenting all service activities in accordance with company and regulatory standards. The technician collaborates with clinical staff to train users on proper equipment operation and supports the selection and evaluation of new devices. The role also involves adhering to electrical safety protocols, following manufacturer guidelines, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to minimize equipment downtime.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for medical devices.Candidates should possess practical experience working with Medical Equipment and a solid understanding of Biomedical Engineering principles.Candidates should possess knowledge of Electrical Safety standards and safe work practices in clinical environments.Relevant technical diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple service requests.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clinical staff, vendors, and internal teams.Willingness to follow safety procedures and quality assurance protocols; prior experience in hospital or healthcare settings is an advantage.
