You’ll have the opportunity to work on a landmark development while strengthening your technical expertise in BMS, controls, systems integration, and commissioning.About Your TeamReporting to the Commissioning Manager, you’ll work closely with commissioning engineers, BMS specialists, mechanical and electrical teams, QA/QC, consultants, subcontractors, system integrators, and OEM representatives to achieve successful testing, commissioning, and handover.Your RoleAs a BMS Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for:Planning, coordinating, and executing BMS testing and commissioning activities in line with approved procedures, project specifications, and commissioning programmes.Carrying out point-to-point checks, loop checks, sensor calibration, actuator testing, and functional performance testing.Verifying BMS graphics, alarms, trends, set points, schedules, control logic, interlocks, and sequences of operation.Reviewing BMS architecture, control schematics, wiring diagrams, I/O schedules, cause-and-effect matrices, and sequences of operation.Testing and validating the integration of BMS with HVAC, mechanical, electrical, fire alarm, and other associated building systems.Supporting functional performance testing of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, chillers and other BMS-controlled equipment.Troubleshooting controls, field devices, communication networks, software, hardware, and integration-related issues.Coordinating closely with BMS vendors, system integrators, subcontractors, OEMs, and other MEP disciplines to resolve interface issues.Monitoring BMS installation and commissioning progress against the project programme.Preparing and maintaining commissioning documentation, test sheets, issue logs, punch lists, and final test reports.Supporting consultant and client witnessing, inspections, demonstrations, and final system handover.Ensuring all commissioning activities comply with project quality, safety, and technical requirements.What We’re Looking ForExperience5+ years of experience in BMS, controls, or building automation testing and commissioning.Strong hands-on experience in functional testing, system integration, troubleshooting, and commissioning of BMS systems.Experience working on large-scale MEP construction projects such as hotels, resorts, high-rise developments, airports, hospitals, or other complex building projects.Experience working with major BMS vendors or system integrators would be advantageous.UAE or GCC project experience is preferred.KnowledgeStrong understanding of BMS architecture, DDC controllers, sensors, actuators, field devices, and control systems.Good knowledge of HVAC systems and their associated control sequences.Familiarity with BMS interfaces for AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, ventilation systems, electrical systems, fire alarm, and other building services.Knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.Ability to interpret control schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, I/O schedules, and sequences of operation.Good understanding of testing, commissioning, and handover processes for MEP systems.SkillsStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding capability.Good coordination and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively with consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary MEP teams.Strong attention to detail and documentation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and commissioning tracking tools.QualificationsDegree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Controls, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.What We OfferThe chance to contribute to some of UAE most iconic projects.A collaborative, supportive environment that values innovation and excellence.Opportunities for professional growth and career progression.Ready to help bring complex building systems to life?If you have strong BMS commissioning experience and enjoy solving technical and integration challenges, we’d love to hear from you.Apply today and be part of something excellent!Please apply as soon as possible, as this advert may close once we have identified the right candidate.
