The company is committed to delivering high-quality projects while maintaining strong standards of construction, engineering, quality and safety across its developments.We are looking for an experienced ELV Project Engineer to manage and supervise the installation, testing, commissioning and handover of BMS systems across our construction projects.Job SummaryThe ELV Project Engineer will be responsible for the technical coordination and site execution of Building Management System, ensuring all works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, authority requirements, quality standards and project schedules.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate day-to-day BMS installation works at project sites.Review and interpret approved shop drawings, technical specifications, method statements and material submittals.Coordinate BMS works with MEP, civil, architectural and other project teams.Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of BMS systems, including interface with:Chiller Plant ManagerDistrict Cooling PlantOther MEP/ELV and low-current systems as applicableEnsure installations comply with approved drawings, project specifications and applicable UAE standards.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and specialist BMS subcontractors.Monitor site progress, manpower, materials and installation quality.Conduct regular inspections and ensure proper installation, testing and documentation.Coordinate with relevant authorities and consultants for inspections and approvals where required.Review technical submissions, shop drawings, samples and material approvals.Identify technical issues and coordinate timely resolution with subcontractors and project teams.Strong knowledge and hands on experience in BMS pre-commissioning.Ensure proper testing, commissioning of BMS system including interface with other MEP/ELV systems.Prepare and maintain inspection requests, testing records, progress reports and other project documentation.Monitor and close out NCRs, observations, snags and corrective actions.Coordinate BMS system integration with other building services.Support final testing, commissioning, snagging and project handover.Ensure all BMS works are executed in accordance with project HSE requirements.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 5–8 years of relevant BMS experience in construction projects.Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience preferred.Strong hands-on experience with multiple brands / systems in BMS.Experience working on high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality or mixed-use developments is preferred.Strong knowledge of BMS installation, testing, commissioning and integration.Ability to read and interpret BMS shop drawings, schematics and technical specifications.Experience coordinating with consultants, main contractors, specialist subcontractors and suppliers.Knowledge of relevant UAE authority requirements and standards.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures and site inspection requirements.Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills.Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
