ABOUT THE ROLE: Velox LLC (Amana Pay & Maito AI) is building ADGM-anchored, programmable smart escrow rails and vertical AI risk engines to power cross-border B2B trade across the Africa–GCC–Asia corridor. As we prepare for our institutional expansion into Saudi Arabia and Qatar, we are formalizing our Board of Directors. We are seeking an exceptional current or former Senior Commercial Banker, Head of Transaction Banking, or Trade Finance Executive to join our board as an Independent Director. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Strategic guidance on partner bank integrations, Nostro/Vostro structures, and escrow account hosting across GCC commercial banks. • Board-level oversight of treasury risk, FX management, and liquidity operations. • Advising on regulatory compliance frameworks (CBUAE, SAMA, QCB) and bank-grade AML/KYC standards. • Assisting in building executive relationships with regional banking C-suites and institutional allocators. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 15+ years of senior executive experience in Commercial Banking, Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, or Treasury across the GCC or Africa. • Deep understanding of cross-border payment rails, correspondent banking, SWIFT infrastructure, and escrow mechanisms. • Active network across GCC banking C-suites and financial regulators.
