The company offers opportunities to develop hands-on experience in textile-related machinery and utilities.Role Description The Boiler Attendant is a full-time, on-site role based in Padrauna, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of steam boilers supporting textile production. Day-to-day tasks include starting, monitoring, and shutting down boilers; checking pressure, temperature, fuel, and water levels; and maintaining optimal steam supply for mill operations. The role involves performing routine inspections, cleaning and minor maintenance of boiler equipment, and reporting any abnormalities or potential issues to the supervisor. The Boiler Attendant must follow all safety procedures, maintain logs and records of boiler readings and maintenance activities, and coordinate with the maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime. The position requires consistent presence on the shop floor and adherence to company policies and statutory safety regulations.Qualifications Demonstrated ability to operate, monitor, and maintain industrial boilers and related equipment safely and efficiently.Basic understanding of mechanical systems, piping, valves, and instrumentation used in steam generation.Knowledge of boiler safety standards, emergency procedures, and compliance with local regulatory requirements.Ability to read and maintain operational logs, pressure and temperature gauges, and simple technical documentation.Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in textiles or similar process industries.Relevant boiler attendant certification or license as per local regulations is highly preferred.Physical ability to work on the shop floor, including standing for extended periods and handling routine manual tasks.Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by production schedules.Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to work collaboratively with technical and production teams.
