Brake Technician

Job Purpose:Responsible for installation, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of trailer braking systems to ensure all brake components are fitted according to drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:Install and assemble complete trailer brake systems including: Air brake chambers Brake valves ABS/EBS systems Air lines and fittings Brake pipes and hoses Slack adjusters and related components Perform brake system installation as per technical drawings and manufacturer specifications. Conduct air leakage tests and brake performance tests. Adjust and calibrate brake systems to ensure proper operation. Troubleshoot brake system faults and rectify issues before PDI. Inspect brake components for correct installation, routing, and connections. Coordinate with QC team during inspection and testing.
