Based in India and serving clients worldwide, Medcity Study Abroad is dedicated to helping people study, grow, and succeed internationally.Role Description The Branch Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Kottayam, responsible for managing the overall operations and performance of the branch. This role includes overseeing counselling and admissions processes, ensuring high-quality client service, and guiding students and professionals through study abroad and international healthcare career pathways. The Branch Head will lead and mentor the branch team, set and monitor targets, manage workflows, and coordinate with central office functions to ensure smooth delivery of services. Day-to-day tasks include supervising staff, reviewing client cases, managing branch budgets and reports, organizing local outreach and marketing activities, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Branch Head will also represent the organization in local partnerships, events, and stakeholder meetings to strengthen the branch’s presence and drive growth.Qualifications Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills to supervise, motivate, and mentor branch staff.Experience in branch operations, service delivery, and workflow management, preferably in education, training, or overseas consultancy.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling abilities to engage with students, families, and professionals from diverse backgrounds.Proficiency in sales, client relationship management, and local marketing or outreach activities to grow branch performance.Solid organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities.Comfort with using CRM systems, productivity tools, and basic data reporting to track performance and support decision-making.Knowledge of international education systems, visa processes, and healthcare career pathways is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree in business, management, education, or a related field; advanced qualifications or relevant certifications are an added advantage.Prior experience in a supervisory or branch head role and familiarity with the Kottayam region’s education or training market is a plus.
