Branch Manager

As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our branches across Cambridgeshire, including managing staff, achieving sales targets, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency.This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in automotive parts or aftersales, excellent leadership skills, and a commercial mindset.Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays’ 8.30am – 1pmKey Responsibilities:Lead and manage all branch operations, including sales, customer service, warehouse and logisticsDrive branch performance to meet or exceed sales, profit and service targetsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customersOversee stock control, purchasing and inventory accuracyManage, motivate and develop a team of staff including sales advisors, warehouse operatives and driversEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and deal with escalated queries or complaints professionallyMonitor and analyse branch KPIs, reporting performance to senior managementEnsure all operational and health & safety procedures are followedSupport marketing and local business development activitiesRecruit, train, and retain high-performing staffRequirements:Proven experience in a management or supervisory role in the motor tradeStrong understanding of automotive parts, operations or aftersalesExcellent leadership, communication and customer service skillsCommercial acumen and a results-driven approachGood organisational and time-management abilitiesPunctual, reliable and trustworthyIT literate, with experience using stock and sales systemsFull UK driving licence
